Pretty beach cottage
Pebble Beach is in a great location with the beach just metres away. Brighton Pier is close by and it's very practical as there are shops for your essentials, cafes for breakfast and other eateries just at the end of the road. Nightlife is on the seafront too so everything you need is close by. The house itself is a very pretty Victorian seaside cottage and offers a welcoming feel and a lovely place to stay for a group of friends and family.
- All white bed linen and towels are included.
- All utility costs are included.
- There is WiFi.
- Smoking is not permitted in the property. This property would not suit a group of smokers as there is no outside area.
- There is no parking at the property. Parking is by meter on the seafront. We recommend travelling to Brighton using public transport as parking is at a premium in Brighton and you certainly won’t need your car while you are here. A taxi from the station is just a short ride and not too expensive. It’s an easy 5-minute walk along the seafront from the coach station.
Pebble Beach is a Victorian townhouse just a few metres from the beach. This is really what your Big Fat Brighton Weekend is all about - a great place to stay with friends, the sea and beach just there, the Pier just nearby and all the entertainment and practical things you need all close to hand! The property has a lovely feel to it and the owner has really chosen everything carefully and refurbished the house to make it both practical and a home from home.
All three bedrooms have great quality orthopaedic standard twin beds ( no bunks) and each room also has a good quality wooden chair bed from The Futon Company. The living room also has two high quality futon sofas from the Futon Company. There are two fabulous contemporary shower rooms with rainfall showers and a kitchen with contemporary units. The whole house has been decorated with care and the lighting and accessories really make this very homely.
Up a few steps to the entrance and then you are straight into the living area. Two sofa beds, a large LCD TV on the wall and art and lighting to create that welcoming feel. The first of the shower rooms is off the living room making it practical if anyone is sleeping on the sofa beds. A door leads to the lower ground floor.
Lower ground floor
On the lower ground floor is the kitchen which has stylish units. it’s not a huge kitchen so the owner has thoughtfully found a table that can be pulled out and used when needed. The kitchen has everything you need to self-cater plus a washing machine and dishwasher. There are so many cafes and places to eat out at the end of the road it’s probably much easier to do that however.
First and second floors
On the first floor, there is a bedroom and the family bathroom. The bedroom has twin beds and a wooden chair bed from The Futon Company. The family bathroom is beautifully tiled and has a walk-in rainfall shower with an additional hand held shower attachment. Please note there is no bath in the house. The second floor has an additional two bedrooms, each following the same configuration and
with lovely accessories. The top front bedroom also has an LCD TV. All the single beds are hotel standard orthopaedic zip and link beds so if you did want to have any of the bedrooms made up as king size beds we can do this if you let us know at the time of booking so we can tell housekeeping. they will usually be set out as twins though. (Please note the photo of the top bedroom shows it as a double but it will be usually set as a twin.)
