Seaview on Bloomsbury
Regency vintage splendour, fashionable address
Seaview on Bloomsbury is the perfect property for a vintage themed hen weekend and all discerning hens. Pretty rooms, Regency elegance and it's huge! A vast kitchen/dining area is perfect for an elegant and sophisticated supper party, plus there's a very large living room, five bedrooms and three big bathrooms. The location is perfect in the fashionable Kemp Town district and yet still close to the Palace Pier and all Brighton has to offer. All the bedrooms have gorgeous dressing tables, there's a plethora of vintage chandeliers, beautiful period features and there's no bunk beds.
- All white bed linen and towels are provided.
- All utility costs are included.
- There is Wi-Fi.
- You may only smoke on the very small patio accessed via the downstairs bedroom.
- There is parking by meter on the seafront. It is cheaper further east along the seafront road away from the town, but we suggest travelling by public transport as parking is at a premium in Brighton.
- Please note the map doesn’t show the location. The house is just off the seafront in Kemp Town parallel to The Concorde.
- Maximum of 12 people allowed.
Sometimes photos don’t do a property justice, and this is one of those times. Seaview on Bloomsbury is a big, big Regency house. It spans five floors and the whole place has a Regency elegance about it. This property is ideal for an older group of discerning hens. No bunk beds! High ceilings, chandeliers, big windows and a real home from home comfort about it too. The owners have put so much thought and care into this house to make it a special place for you to stay. The bedrooms are all very pretty with cushions, throws and dressing tables so you know you’re in a period property and there are beautiful chandeliers galore. It does have a certain grandeur, but it’s not pretentious and it really feels like home. A fantastic choice if you want a hen weekend with a vintage feel.
We love the kitchen with the dining area with pretty window seating, a beautiful display cabinet and chandeliers hanging down. A great place for a sit-down meal and don’t forget we can provide a chef or a buffet. If you want to sit and have a chat about old times, this is a perfect setting. Upstairs the living room is equally expansive with elegant features, and has two seating areas with lots of sofas and a large 50-inch TV with a Virgin TV package.
Seaview on Bloomsbury offers lots of room to sit and chat and is in a great location in Kemp Town with little independent coffee shops, bakeries, delis and vintage shops just a few steps away. In the other direction is the beach and it’s a seafront walk for about 10-15 minutes to Brighton Pier and all the nightlife round there.
Please note this property is very large but is to only accommodate a maximum of 15.
Up a few steps to the entrance of this period property with secure key-less keypad entry so you don’t have to worry about losing keys or coming home at different times. On the ground floor is the large kitchen/diner with a dining table with a very pretty window seat. The kitchen has beautiful bespoke traditional units, two chandeliers, an elegant fireplace and fabulous vintage dresser, making this a special place to gather and chat. Everything you need to self-cater is here including two kettles and two toasters, fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, microwave etc. Also on this floor is a large utility room with a washer/drier and separate drier. A great place to store all your drinks and snacks.
On the first floor, there is a very large living room with two defined areas. Huge bay windows, high ceilings and period fireplaces make this a grand room but still incredibly comfortable and homely. There are three sofas and one cube in one section along with lamps, side tables, a bookcase with books and games and a lovely period fireplace. In the other part of the room there is a vintage dresser, another fireplace and a sofa bed. A 50-inch TV, DVD player and Virgin TV package make relaxing after a hard day’s shopping too easy. With the period fireplaces, chandeliers and grand windows you might think you’re in a comfortable country hotel!
